ERCIM has opened the next application round of the ERCIM “Alain Bensoussan” Fellowship Programme, offering postdoctoral fellowships for outstanding PhD holders from around the world. The deadline for applications is 30 April 2026.
The programme supports early-career researchers working in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Applied Mathematics, covering a broad range of research topics. Successful applicants will receive a 12-month fellowship hosted at one of the ERCIM member institutes, providing an excellent opportunity to collaborate with leading European research teams and strengthen international research networks.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- have obtained their PhD within the last 8 years (before the application deadline) or be in the final year of their PhD, with proof of the degree required before the fellowship starts;
- submit the online application form together with:
- a detailed curriculum vitae,
- a list of publications,
- two scientific papers in English, and
- contact details of two referees.
Selected fellows must be able to start their fellowship no later than 1 October 2026.
