The ERCIM Fall Meetings 2026 will take place on 29–30 October 2026 in Porto, Portugal, hosted by INESC TEC.
The programme includes meetings of the ERCIM Task Groups, as well as the ERCIM AISBL Board meeting and General Assembly. Online participation will also be possible for those unable to attend in person.
The Fall Meetings are co-located with the 5th edition of the ERCIM Forum Beyond Compliance 2026 on Research Ethics in the Digital Age, also taking place on 29–30 October 2026.
ERCIM members are encouraged to save the dates and join the meetings and Forum in Porto or online.
Ahead of the Fall Meetings, a one-day Training in Digital Ethics will take place on 28 October 2026 at INESC TEC. Organised within the Horizon Europe AIOLIA project, in which ERCIM is a partner, the training will address ethical challenges related to AI and is aimed at researchers working in AI, computer science and digital technologies.
