Executive Committee

The Executive Committee implements the grouping's objectives and activities:

• implements the grouping's strategy and policies decided by the ERCIM Board of Directors
• proposes new strategy and policies to the Board of Directors
• monitors the ERCIM activities, the operation of the ERCIM Office, of the ERCIM working groups and of all projects where ERCIM undertakes legal obligations
• reviews reports and draft budgets prepared by the ERCIM Manager and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors
• acts as the principal forum in which members liaise through their representatives with the President, the Manager and each other.

The Executive Committee is presided over by the Chairman and includes the Secretary and a representative from each member of the grouping.
